Sub:   Sub: Renewal   of   approval of   A.P. Permitted Delay Detonators 0-6 (APPDD) for use in belowground coal mines/ seams of second degree  gassiness manufactured  by  M/s  A.P. Explosives Pvt. Ltd., Secunderabad.

Please refer to your online application No. NIL, dated 01.12.2019 and your online reply to the clarification letter No.NIL, dated 16.02.2020 on the above subject.

In view of difficulties expressed by you, I, by virtue of powers conferred upon me under Regulation 2(zu) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 hereby renew the approval of A.P. Permitted Delay Detonators 0-6 (APPDD)  for use in belowground coal mines/ seams of second  degree for a further period of two year i.e. from 02.02.2020 to 01.02.2022, subject to compliance with the conditions  stipulated vide this Directorate’s letter No. S 66021/51/2007-Genl/516 dated 02.02.2011. Further Regulation 2(23) of Coal Mines Regulations, 1957 of the said letter shall be read as Regulation 2(zu) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017.
