Sub:   Renewal of approval of laboratory for determination of Respirable Dust content and Quartz of M/s  Environmental Laboratory (Unit of Mineral Engineering Services) - Regarding.

Please refer to your online application vide application code S-29023|62075|2024|S&T (HQ) dated 21.10.2024 & further clarification reply on 29.11.2024 on the subject matter.

The matter has since been examined on the basis of the information furnished by you in the application and documents enclosed therewith.  In exercise of the powers conferred on the Chief inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety)  under Regulation 124(3)(d) of the Metalliferous Mines Regulation ,1961 and Regulation 143(7) of the Coal Mines Regulation, 2017, I hereby extend the validity of the approval of M/s  Environmental Laboratory (Unit of Mineral Engineering Services) located at #948, 2nd cross, St.Thomas Town, Post:Kammanahalli, Bangalore 560084 (Karnataka) for determination of quartz content in the respirable dust granted vide this Directorate’s letter no. S-29023/51232/2022/S&T(HQ), Dated 16-12-2022 for a further period of Five years i.e., upto 15.12.2029 subject to the compliance of all other conditions specified in DGMS approval Letter No no. S-29023/51232/2022/S&T(HQ), Dated 16-12-2022 and validity of NABL Certificate.
