Flameproof Equipment’s Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai-400053 conforming to  IS/IEC 60079-0:2017, IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 , IS/IEC 60079-11:2011 and IS/IEC 60529:2001(Reaffirmed 2014) for use in belowground Coal Mines in India– Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/61984/2024/Electrical (HQ)dated 03.07.2024 on the above subject and CIMFR Test Report No. IN/CIMFR/TR21/R/804 dated 21/06/2021 and the associated drawing no. FEPL/IS/LED/10 Rev.01 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard. 

 I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. E_53334/4 of 2019) granted online vide this Directorate's letter No. E-29021/92/2018/Electrical (HQ) dated 19.07.2019 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 19.07.2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines. 

In the interest of safety, the OEM guidelines shall be adhered to and spares, supplied by OEM shall only be used while maintaining the machine/Equipment. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with and the test reports of all the electrical items covered under approval, conforming to the latest testing standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted before.
