Please refer to your online application vide ref id no. 61611 dated 23.06.2023 and offline letter No. DSIPL/GM/DGMS/2023/OXY6000/04 dated 6th July 2023 & subsequent letter Nos. DSIPL/GM/DGMS/2023/OXY6000/05 & 06 dated 24th July 2023, on the above subject, enclosing therewith the full bench test reports of 24 Nos. of self rescuers from M/s CSIR-CIMFR and practical performance reports from Mines Rescue stations of Orient Area and Talcher Area of M/s Mahanadi Coalfields limited.
In view of the satisfactory performance test reports, I, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under the Rule 11(5) of the mines Rescue Rules 1985 and Regulation 243(1) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, hereby extend the validity of approval (No. SA-1/2018) of Oxy 6000 MK II Self Rescuer 60 minutes duration manufactured by M/s Draegar Safety AG & Co, KGaA Germany , granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. S 65019/04/2016-Genl/ P-14 dated 12.09.2018 for a period of five years, i,e up to 12.09.2028, subject to compliance of the conditions stipulated vide this Directorate’s approval letter No. S 65019/04/2016-Genl/ P-14 dated 12.09.2018 and the following additional condition.
- The product shall be tested from any Govt. approved laboratory, whenever standard of testing changes and the approval gets revalidated from this Directorate under the new /revised testing standards.
