Please refer to your online application ID No. 62112 dated 04.11.2024 on the above subject.

In view of satisfactory performance report from user mines, I, by virtue of powers conferred upon me under Rule 11(5) of the Mines Rescue Rules 1985, hereby renew the validity of approval of Handheld Resuscitator model ‘CAREvent CA’ manufactured by M/s O-Two Medical Technologies Inc., Canada for use in mines.

The renewal of the Approval is subjected to following conditions:

1. All the conditions of the approval granted vide this Directorate's Letter No. S 65019/14/2006-Genl/523 dated 06.02.2007 shall remain unchanged except the validity of the approval.
2. The validity of the renewal shall be for the period of 05 years i.e upto 31.01.2030.
3. Further renewal of the approval can be sought through online application atleast 90 days prior to the expiry of the validity.
