FG-150 construction, type No. GBF-2 rated at 400 A, 550 V (Approval No. 304 Group-I of 1990), conforming to IS/IEC 60079-1:2014, IS/IEC 60079-0:2011 and IS/IEC 60079-2001 (Reaffirmed 2014) for use in belowground Coal Mines – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/30872/2021/Electrical (HQ) dated 04.06.2021, offline application PIU/742/20-21 dated 30.03.2021 on the above subject and CIMFR Test Report No. IN/CIMFR/TR20/964 dated 19.05.2020 and BIS License No. CM/L- 1855466 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 304 Group-I of 1990) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 423/90/97/EHQ dated 31.01.1990 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 18.07.2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
