Ltd., Kolkata conforming to IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 and IS/IEC 60079-0:2011 for use in belowground Coal Mines– Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/40923/2021/Electrical (HQ) dated 09.07.2021, offline application No. DGMS/REN/JC/491 dated 25.02.2021 on the above subject and CIMFR test report nos. IN/CIMFR/TR20/1661 dated 20.07.2020 and BIS License No. CM/L– 5203645 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 491 of 2003) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 446/622/EHQ dated 22.04.2003 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 22.04.2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
