Sub:  Renewal of approval of Solar Copper Delay Detonators (CDD)   for use in belowground  coal mines/ seams of First and Second  Degree             manufactured  by  M/s  Solar Industries India Limited, Nagpur.

Please refer to your online application dated 12.12.2019 on the above subject.

In view of difficulties expressed by you, I, by virtue of powers conferred upon me under Regulation 2(zu) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 hereby renew the approval of Solar Copper Delay   Detonators (CDD)   for use in belowground coal mines/ seams  of  First and Second  Degree  for a further period of two year i.e. from 25.03.2020 to 24.03.2022, subject to compliance with the conditions  stipulated vide this Directorate’s letter No. S 66021/179/2006-Genl/516 dated 06.02.2007. Further Regulation 2(23) of Coal Mines Regulations, 1957 of the said letter shall be read as Regulation 2(zu) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017.
