                      In view of the satisfactory performance reports from mines, I, in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, and 2 (2) of the Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 1961, hereby renew the approval granted by this Directorate vide letter No. 66021/05/2008-Genl/6071 dated 21.11.2008 and amended vide this Directorate’s letter No. S-66021/05/2008-Genl/2378 dated 28.08.2012 for further period of five years upto 21.11.2025. The approval shall remain valid till the manufacturer has a valid BIS certification.
