Sub: Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 for flameproof pull chord switch type-ABC-75/PC rated at 250 V AC, 3 A, 50 Hz of cast iron construction casing and boltless cover fitted with incoming and outgoing flameproof terminal box (detachable) and cable sealing box manufactured by M/S ABC Electricals Private Limited, Kolkata conforming to IS/IEC 60079-0:2004 and IS/IEC 60079-1:2007 for use in belowground Coal Mines-Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online Application No.E-29021|40919|2021|Electrical(HQ) dated 08.07.2021, offline application No. DGMS/21-22/035 dated 08.07.2021 on the above subject and ERTL Test Reprot No.: ERTL(E)/TES/A185/0043/04-15 dated 29.07.2015, BIS License No.CM/L-5420047 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No.121 Group-1 of 1976) granted vide this Directorate's letter No.299/A/76/1003/EHQ dated 01.09.1976 for a further period of five years, i.e, upto 11.07.2023 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
