MEC-PB-001 manufactured by M/s. Mining Equipment Corporation, Gurgaon conforming to IS/IEC 60079-0:2004 and IS/IEC 60079-1:2007 for use in belowground Coal Mines– Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/30839/2021/Electrical (HQ), dated 12.04.2021and offline application No. MEC/DGMS/RKG dated 29.04.2021 on the above subject and CIMFR/TC/SR/ H638 dated 30.01.2015, BIS License No. CM/L- 9928208 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard. 

 

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 634 of 2011) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 536/2743/EHQ dated 29.12.2011 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 29.07.2023  for use in belowground Coal Mines.  The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with. 

 

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
