Ref No-: Test report No – IN/CIMFR/TR23/R/H264 dated 12^th October 2023 the associated drawings nos. IST-A/Cir1, Rev-2 & IST-A/CIR2, Rev-2 both dated 06.05.2022.

Please refer to your online application no. E-29021/62024/2024/Electrical (HQ) dated 05/08/2027 on the above subject and test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 237 of 1983) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 410/83/738/EHQ dated 02.06.1983 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 26/06/2029 for use in belowground Coal Mines in India.

In the interest of safety, the OEM guidelines shall be adhered to and spares, supplied by OEM shall only be used while maintaining the apparatus. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with and the test reports of all the electrical items covered under approval, conforming to the latest testing standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted before.

The application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of this approval.
