          In view of the satisfactory performance reports from mines, I, in exercise of powers conferred on Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval granted by this Directorate vide letter No. S66021/162/2006-Genl/RP-98, dated 27.10.2015 for further period of five years upto 20.01.2025. The approval shall remain valid till the manufacturer has a valid BIS certification.
