Sub:          Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 for flameproof motor control panel, model No. CP5 rated at up to 32A and up to 550V, 3Phase, 50Hz AC for Gas Group-I mine; manufactured by M/s. Mine Line Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata conforming to IS/IEC 60079- 0:2011,                              IS/IEC 60079-1:2014  for use in belowground Coal Mines – Renewal thereof.

         Dear Sir,

                   Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/30649/2020/Electrical (HQ) dated 21.10.2020, offline application No. M20/DGMS/70, dated 19-10-2020 on the above subject and CIMFR test report Nos. IN/CIMFR/TR20/H90, dated 26-08-2020 , BIS License No. CM/L- 0893166 and other                         documents submitted therewith in this regard. 

                   I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 300 of 1989) granted vide this Directorate's letter No.                                  333/89/1786//EHQ dated 28-11-1989 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 25.01.2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines.  The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with. 

                  Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
