KSWI-A in cast iron construction manufactured by M/s. Kaysons Techno Equipments Pvt. Ltd., Vithal Udyognagar conforming to IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 and IS/IEC 60079-0:2017 for use in belowground coal mines- Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|62092|2024|Electrical (HQ), Dt:14.10.2024 on the above subject and the test report issued by M/s CIMFR vide test report no. IN/CIMFR/TR19/H 2663 dated 05/11/2019 and the associated drawing no. SW001-13. Rev.03 dated 26/08/2019.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon the Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 529 of 2005) granted vide this Directorate's letter No.464/405/EHQ dated 12.04.2005 for a further five years, i.e. up to 12.04.2030 for use in belowground Coal Mines.
In the interest of safety, the OEM guidelines shall be adhered to and spares supplied by OEM shall only be used while maintaining the apparatus. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with. The test reports of all the electrical items covered under approval, conforming to the latest testing standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not before.
Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
