1. Please refer to (i) your online application made vide ID: 62643 dated 04.12.2025, (ii) 1574/EHQ dated 23.09.2013 (iii) Regular Approval vide : Mech (HQ)/ APP/ DCH-FBR15/ Caterpillar/ 1179 dated 11.02.2016, (iv) Renewal Vide MECH (HQ)/142404/2021/09 dated 04.02.2021(Approval No. MECH-142404/2021/09) (v) Previous Amendment vide No. No. MECH-142404/2021/09 vide letter no. M-29020|61847|2023|Mechanical (HQ) dtd.03.03.2023 & other documents submitted on this Subject.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, I hereby renew the validity of approval refer Para1(iii) to 1(v)above to work at Belowground coal mines for a period of five years i.e. upto 04.02.2031 subject to the conditions mentioned in Ref. Para 1(ii), 1(iii), 1(iv) and the following additional conditions.
(i) Equipment shall be maintained as per DGMS (S&T)/(Tech.) Circular No. 01 Dated 13.08.2018.
(ii) The subject approval is valid for use of subject Equipment in Belowground Coal Mines to work at Jhanjra Colliery of M/s Eastern Coalfields Limited, Paschim Bardhaman (West Bengal) for which performance was submitted..
(iii) The test reports of all 11 nos. Flameproof & Intrinsically Safe Electrical apparatus associated with I.C Engine (DITA Diesel Engine (Caterpillar 3126-230 HP)), Diesel Coal Hauler, Model FH125D (Mentioned in Annexure ‘B’ of Ref. Para 1(iii) ) as per the latest applicable testing standards IS/IEC 60079- 0:2017, IS/IEC 60079- 1:2014 & IS/IEC 60079- 11:2023 and QAR/QANs of (a) FLP alternator model MR001, 12V, 30A & (b) FLP junction box model no. FJB-2, 35W to be submitted within 90 Days from the date of issue of this letter.
3. The application for renewal of approval shall be made online at least 90 days before the date of expiry of this approval. |
