1. References:- (i) Your online application vide ID 41015 dated 07.10.2021 on subject matter and (ii) this Directorate’s Approval Letter No. Mech (HQ)/Caterpillar/CL210/2020-21/APP-03 dated 22.12.2021.

2. The matter has been further considered in light of what has been stated by you in the letter under reference at Para 1(i) and following ammendments to the letter under reference at Para 1(ii) are hereby issued:

(i) For

The subject mentioned in the approval letter under reference at Para 1 (ii)

"Regular approval of IC Engine (DITA Diesel Engine (Caterpillar 3126-230)), FLP & Intrinsically Safe Electrical equipments associated with Diesel Utility Vehicle Model CL-210 (Old model FBL-10) with Wet scrubber system, manufactured and supplied by M/s. Caterpillar Global Mining Europe GmbH, Germany to work at Churcha  Mine of M/. South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Bilaspur (Chhatisgarh).”

To be read as:

"Approval of IC Engine (DITA Diesel Engine (Caterpillar 3126-230)), FLP & Intrinsically Safe Electrical equipments associated with Diesel Utility Vehicle Model CL-210 (Old model FBL-10) with Wet scrubber system, manufactured and supplied by M/s. Caterpillar Global Mining Europe GmbH, Germany to work at belowground coal mines.”

List of Diesel engine, FLP & Intrinsically Safe electrical equipments and others to be used with Diesel Utility Vehicle Model CL-210 (Old model FBL-10) with wet scrubber system, manufactured and supplied by M/s. Caterpillar Global Mining Europe GmbH, Germany for use at Churcha Mines of M/s. South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Bilaspur (Chhatisgarh)."

To be read as:

"ANNEXURE – B

3. All the terms and conditions stipulated in the Approval Letter No. Mech (HQ)/Caterpillar/CL210/2020-21/APP-03 dated 22.12.2021 shall be strictly complied with and equipments shall be identical in material, design, construction and Model for which approval was granted.
