Reference: Test report issued by CIMFR vide no. IN/CIMFR/TR22/R/H241 dated 06/09/2022 and CIMFR/FES/Cons./22-23/242 dated: 21/06/2022, the associated drawing no. EEC/FLP/TS/07, dated 02.09.2020 and the BIS Licence no. CM/L-2291047 which is valid till 15.10.2024.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|61960|2024|Electrical (HQ) dated 24.06.2024 on the above subject & test reports and other documents submitted on this portal/module in this regard.

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the Approval No. 513 of 2004 granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 362/1138/EHQ dated 21.05.2004 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 21.05.2025 for use in belowground Coal Mines in India. In the interest of safety, the OEM guidelines shall be adhered to and spares, supplied by OEM shall only be used while maintaining the apparatus. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with and the test reports of all the electrical items covered under approval, conforming to the latest standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted before.

The application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
