I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 and in reference to Field Trial approval issued vide letter No. FT_E-4 dated 22.10.2019 and based on the performance report received from M/s. Eastern Coalfields Limited, hereby accord the approval (DGMS Approval no. 56196/2020) granted vide this Directorate's letter No.NO: E-29021|20170|2018|Electrical (HQ) dated 24.11.2020 for a period of two years, i.e. up to 15/03/2028 for use in belowground Coal Mines with the strict adherence to the conditions mentioned  in Annexure-I of original approval without any alteration of associated electrical apparatus and submission of test reports with QANs of intrinsically safe associated electrical apparatus within 3 months from the date of issuance of this letter.

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
