Please refer to your online application vide reference id  no. 62065 dated 14.09.2024 on the above subject.

The subject matter has been examined in light of your application along with the documents submitted, In view of the satisfactory test reports from CSIR-CIMFR vide Test Report No. IN/CIMFR/TR23/R/46, dated 10.04.2023, Examination Certificate No. CMF 23 INEx 0090 dated 05.04.2023, I in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, hereby renew the approval granted, to Ex-I Intrinsically Safe Ex-i Rechargeable LED cap lamp with built in battery Cat. No. PEW/CAP/Exi/051 DGMS Approval no. SA-01/2019 manufactured by M/s Prompt Engineering Works, Mumbai for use in Coal Mines in India for a period of two years i.e upto 13.01.2026, subject to the strict compliance of the conditions stipulated vide this Directorate’s  approval letter No. S 66021/08/2014-Genl /P-01 , dated 14.01.2019.

“The product shall be tested from any Govt. approved laboratory, whenever standard of testing changes and the approval gets revalidated from this Directorate under the new/revised testing standards.”
