Please refer to your online application vide reference no. 61982 dated 03.07.2024 and Offline Document  submitted reference No. FEPL/HBD/S-GEN/1080/2024 dated 20.07.2024 on the above subject.

The subject matter has been examined in light of information submitted by you as above,  In view of the difficulties expressed by you and  I, in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 2(2) of the Metalliferous Mines Regulations 1961, hereby renew the approval granted to Intrinsically Safe Rechargeable Cap Lamp with In-Built RF Drive Circuit Designated by Type: IS-RH-LED-11 manufactured by M/s Flameproof Equipments Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai,   for use in Underground Metalliferous Mines in India for  a period of two years i.e. upto 22.07.2026, subject to the strict compliance of the conditions stipulated in the approval granted  vide this Directorate’s  letter No. MSE-29022/61271/2022/MSE(HQ), dated 22.07.2022.

“The product shall be tested from any Govt. approved laboratory, whenever standard of testing changes and the approval gets revalidated from this Directorate under the new/revised testing standards.”
