Sub: Approval under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, of MEC COAL-1, a P-1 type of slurry explosive composition for use in gassy coal mines /seams of first degree manufactured by M/s AMA Industries Pvt. Ltd.- Nagpur- Renewal Thereof.

Please refer to your online application vide ref id no. 61331 dated 18.08.2022 , along with the offline letter No. nil dated Aug 18, 2022 and subsequent letter No. nil dated 20.10.2022 & 14.11.2022 with an undertaking on the above subject.
The matter has been examined in light of your submission. In view of the difficulties expressed by you, I , in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, hereby renew the approval granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. 14(3)2002- Genl/3435 dated 01.10.2003 read with letter No. S 66021/157/2006-Genl/RP-583 dated 26.05.2014 for a further period of two years, i,e. upto 01.10.2024, subject to the strict compliance of the following additional conditions.
- The factory inspection may be made by an Officer of this Directorate, if felt necessary, any time to assess/reassess the capability of the manufacturer in respect of quality control, testing and other facilities.
- The product shall be tested from any Govt. approved laboratory, whenever standard of testing changes and the approval gets revalidated form this Directorate under the new /revised testing standards..
