In exercise of powers conferred upon the Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, I hereby renew the (DGMS APPROVAL NO.821 OF 2023) issued vide Directorate’s Letter No. E-29021|61656|2023|Electrical (HQ) Dhanbad, Date: 07/11/2023; for a further period of two years, i.e., up to 18.08.2027, for use in the below-ground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.

Condition: The valid QARs and the Latest test standard for IS /IEC for the flameproof and intrinsically safe electrical equipment associated with the Load Centre, Model: KJSGZD-1250/06/1140, 660 must be submitted to this Directorate within three (03) months from the date of issue of the renewal approval. Failure to comply may result in the permission being revoked.
Please note that the application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
