Sub: Approval under regulation 208(3) of the coal mines regulation, 2017 for flameproof and intrinsically safe electrical equipments for Remote control by multi core control cable associated with  Electrical LHD, Model-912E (as per Annexure-B), manufactured by M/s-Eimco Elecon (India) Ltd, for use in below ground coal mines in India  - Renewal thereof.

Dear Sir,

Please refer to your online application No-E-29021/62275/2025/Electrical(HQ) dated 17.03.2025 on the above subject & test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard. I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under regulation 208(3) of coal mines regulations,2017 hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No-536 of 2005) granted vide this Directorate 's letter No-321/742/EHQ, Dhanbad, dated 11.06.2005 for a further period of five years, i.e up to 11.06.2030 for use in belowground coal mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any , shall be strictly complied with.   

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three(3) months before the date of expiry of the approval, enclosing the test reports conforming  to the latest  standards.
