Approval under regulation 208(3) of the coal mines regulation, 2017 for DGMS Approval No-(569 of 2008) of flameproof and intrinsically safe electrical equipment (as mentioned in  Annexure-B), associated with coal Hauler Model-912, manufactured by M/s-EIMCO ELECON (India) Ltd, for use in below ground coal mines in India - Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No-E-29021/51161/2022/Electrical(HQ) dated 01.03.2022 on the above subject & test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under regulation 208(3) of coal mines regulations,2017 hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No-569 of 2008) granted vide this Directorate 's letter No-321/993/EHQ, Dhanbad, dated 02.05.2008 for a further period of five years, i.e up to 02.05.2027 for use in belowground coal mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any , shall be strictly complied with.

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three(3) months before the date of expiry of the approval, enclosing the test reports conforming  to the latest  standards.
