Please refer to your online application no. E-29021/62530/2025/Electrical (HQ) dated 06/09/2025 on the above subject and CIMFR Test Report No. IN/CIMFR/TR20/R/3167 dated 06/112020, BIS licence no.CM/L-0850855 with endorsement no. 142 dated 06/02/2025 and the associated drawing nos. FEPL/PANEL/SB/13 Rev.02 dated18/09/2020 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 631 of 2011)granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 306/2171/EHQ dated 15.11.2011 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 21/10/2027 for use in belowground Coal Mines.

The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with and the test reports of all the electrical items covered under approval, conforming to the latest testing standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted before.

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
