Subject: Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, of Pentadyne (PE-5I), a P-5 type explosive composition in Chub Packed form                ( Polythene film tube, ends sealed with steel wire)  for use in gassy coal mines/seams of first and second degree manufactured by M/s. IDL Explosives Ltd., Hyderabad– Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your letter No. IDL/RKL/Safety & LC/No. 80, dated 16.6.2022 and online application ID No. 61340, dated 05.9.2022 on the above subject.

In view of satisfactory performance reports from users, I, in exercise of powers conferred on me, under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. S 66021/189/2006-Genl/ 2690 dated 20.9.2011, read with letter No. S 66021/189/2006-Gen/ RP-116 dated 02.12.2015 for a further period of five years i.e. up-to 19.9.2027.
