Subject: Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 for flameproof motor control panel, type- CP-5 rated at up to 32 A and up to 550 V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz AC for gas group-I mine, manufactured by M/s. Mine Line Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata for use in belowground Coal Mines­­_Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application no. E-29021/62624/2025/Electrical (HQ) dated 19/11/2025, and CIMFR test report no. IN/CIMFR/TR20/2020/H 90 dated 28/08/2020 and TC/FES/INF/25-26/H 169 dated 22/08/2025 for re-certification, BIS License no. CM/L- 0000893166 with endorsement no. 58 dated 24/09/2025 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 300 of 1989) granted vide this Directorate's letter No.333/89/1786/EHQ dated 28/11/1989 for a further period of Two years, i.e. up to 11/12/2027 for use in below-ground Coal Mines, subject to submission of test report for latest applicable testing standard with ingress protection within 3 months from the issue date .The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
