Reference: Performance report submitted by Tilaboni colliery, M/s Eastern coal fields Limited vide Letter no.TC/AG/TLB/24-25/881 dated 16.09.2024 and the test reports as mentioned in the appended Annexure-A.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|61962|2024|Electrical (HQ) dated 24.06.2024 on the above subject, the performance report submitted by agent of Tilaboni colliery, M/s Eastern coal fields Limited, test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the Approval No E_80582/8 of 2019 granted vide this Directorate's letter No. E-29021|85|2018|Electrical(HQ) dated 26.07.2019 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 26.07.2029 for use in belowground Coal Mines in India. In the interest of safety, the OEM guidelines shall be adhered to and spares, supplied by OEM shall only be used while maintaining the apparatus. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with and the test reports of all the electrical items covered under approval, conforming to the latest standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted before.
The application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
