Please refer to your online application ID-61807 dated 18.01.2024 and offline  documents vide letter Ref. No. DSIPL/GM/DGMS/2021/PASLITE/02 dated 18.01.2024,  on the above subject.

In view of the difficulties expressed by you, I, in exercise of powers conferred on me under Rule 11(5) of the Mines Rescue Rules 1985, hereby  renew the approval granted to  Open Circuit Breathing Apparatus, ’’ Draeger PAS Lite’’ [ Approval No. SA-01/2022] manufactured by M/s Drager Safety AG & CO.KAA, Revalstrasse 1, Schleswig-Holstein, Lubeck–Germany 23560, for use in Mines,  for a further period of two years, i,e. upto 08.04.2026, subject to the strict compliance of the  conditions of the approval stipulated vide this Directorate’s approval letter No. MSE-29022/51115/2022/MSE(HQ), dated 08.04.2022 and the following additional condition.

          "The product shall be tested from any Govt. approved laboratory, whenever standard of testing changes and the approval gets revalidated from this Directorate under the new /revised testing standards."
