PFC/WG/14A manufactured by M/s Pluto Flameproof Controls, Mumbai conforming to IS/IEC 60079-1:2007, IS/IEC 60079-0:2004 for use in belowground Coal Mines – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/30396/2020/Electrical (HQ) dated 09.01.2020, offline application No. PFC/CGH/19-20/055 dated 27.12.2019 on the above subject and CIMFR test report no. CIMFR/TC/SR/H214 dated 28.06.2012, BIS License No. CM/L- 7133761 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard. 

 

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 480 of 2002) granted vide this Directorate's letter No473/120/EHQ dated 23.01.2002 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 23.01.2022 for use in belowground Coal Mines.  The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with. 

 

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
