Electroteknica Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata conforming to IS/IEC 60079-0:2017 and IS/IEC 60079-1: 2014 for use in belowground Coal Mines. -Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/62080/2024/Electrical (HQ)dated 26.09.2024 on the above subject and CIMFR Test Report Nos.IN/CIMFR/TR23/S/2034 Dated:25.11.2023 dated 09/03/2023; CINFR/FES/Clarification/22-23/255 dated.08/08/2022, IN/CIMFR/TR20/1596 Dated:13.07.2020 and  and the associated drawing no.51-E-0382 dated 14.11.2019 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard. 

 I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 740 of 2018) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 446/948/EHQ, Dhanbad Date: 20.12.2018 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 20.12.2025 for use in belowground Coal Mines. 

In the interest of safety, the OEM guidelines shall be adhered to, and OEM-supplied spares shall only be used while maintaining the apparatus. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with. The test reports of all the electrical items covered under approval, conforming to the latest testing standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not before.

 Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
