Shanxi Tiandi Coal Mining Machinery, China for use in belowground Coal Mines in India- Renewal approval thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/62390/2025/Electrical (HQ) dated 05.06.2025, along with other documents submitted in this regard.
I, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as the Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 816 of 2023) granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. E-29021/61579/2023/Electrical (HQ), Dhanbad, dated 18.08.2023, for a further period of two (02) years, i.e., up to 08.08.2027, for use in belowground coal mines in India.
This renewal is subject to the condition that you submit the latest test report conforming to IS/IEC 60079:2023 within three (03) months from the date of issue of this letter.
Please note that applications for renewal must be submitted at least three (03) months prior to the date of expiry of the current approval.
