Sub:  Approval for Man Riding Haulage System (Mine Car) manufactured and supplied by M/s Andhra Pradesh Heavy Machinery and Engineering Limited  to work at Vakilpalli Incline (Surface to No.4 Seam 48L) in RG-II Area of M/s SCCL. – Renewal thereof.

Sir,

1. Please refer to (i) your online application Vide ID 62256 dated: 03.03.2025, (ii) Initial FT Approval vide No. Mech (HQ)/Fld-Trial/APHMEL/M-Riding/463 dated 31.08.2006, (iii) Regular Approval granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. Mech(HQ)/APP/APHMEL/M-Riding/276 dated 13.03.2009 ( Renewals thereof) and  subsequent details submitted by you on the above cited subject.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, I hereby renew the validity of Approval  issued vide refer Para1(iii) above to Man Riding Haulage System (Mine Car) manufactured and supplied by M/s Andhra Pradesh Heavy Machinery and Engineering Limited  to work at Vakilpalli Incline (Surface to No.4 Seam 48L) in RG-II Area of M/s SCCL, for a period of five years i.e. upto 08.04.2030, subject to the conditions stated in letters reference Para 1(ii), 1(iii) and the following additional conditions.

(i) Man Riding Haulage System shall be maintained and performance shall be monitored as per IS 17241:2019

3. The application for renewal of approval shall be made 90 days prior to the expiry of the validity of approval.
