Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|62742|2026|Electrical (HQ), dated 13.02.2026, CIMFR test and assessment report no IN/CIMER/TR26/R/H329 dated 10.02.2026, drawing No-SI- BS - 306-11, Rev-02, Sheet (1 to 2) dated 08.08.2025 and BIS license no- CM/L- 0005028855 on the above subject, and the test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 49 of 1990) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 429/1430/EHQ dated 27.11.1990 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 06.03.2028 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with, and the test reports of all the electrical items covered under this approval, conforming to the latest testing standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted before.
The application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
