Safex(India), Dhanbad conforming to IS/IEC 60079-1:2014, IS/IEC 60079-0:2011 and IS/IEC 60529-2001 (Reaffirmed 2014) for use in belowground Coal Mines – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/30728/2021/Electrical (HQ) dated 17.02.2021, offline application No. SI/DGMS/CIFLP/20-21/230 dated 01.02.2021 on the above subject and CIMFR Test & Assessment Report No.: IN/CIMFR/TR20/H14 dated 28.05.2020, BIS License No. CM/L – 5063756 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 326 of 1993) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 429/1064/EHQ dated 23.08.1993 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 01.05.2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
