J.H. Fletcher & Co., for use in belowground Coal Mines under _ Renewal approval thereof.

Please refer to your online application no. E-29021|62025/2025/Electrical (HQ) dated 20/08/2025 on the above subject & test reports and other documents submitted on this portal/module in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby conditionally renew the approval (DGMS Approval No.85390/2020) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. E-29021|20169|2018|Electrical (HQ) dated 24/11/2020, subject to
- strict compliance of the conditions mentioned with associated FLP/IS equipment stipulated in the original approval;
- submission of the test reports with latest testing standards of following associated electrical equipment within three(03) months:-
- STX-3261 Methane Sensor
- IS Power supply, BBU TX6648
- TX9042 Programmable Sensor Controller
- Isolating Switch Amplifier
- Audio Visual Alarm for methane
- FLP enclosure
for a further period of five i.e. up to 22/10/2030, for use in belowground Coal Mines in India.
The application for renewal should be made with updated BIS , test reports and QARs/QANs with latest applicable testing standards, whichever applicable, at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
