Flameproof Equipments Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai conforming to IS/IEC 60079-1:2014, IS/IEC 60079-0:2017 and IS/IEC 60529:2001(Reaffirmed 2014) for use in belowground Coal Mines in India– Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/61558/2023/Electrical (HQ) dated 10.05.2023 on the above subject and test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval ( Approval No. 556 of 2007) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 306/1070/EHQ dated 03.05.2007 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 03.05.2025 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters, if any, shall be strictly complied with and the test reports of all the electrical items covered under this approval, conforming to the latest testing standards, shall be submitted within three months, if not submitted earlier.
The application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of this approval.
