Please refer to your online application No. E-29021/30485/2020/Electrical (HQ) dated 12.05.2020, offline application No. SI/DGMS/SB/19-20/179 dated 18.03.2020 on the above subject and CIMFR test report Nos. CIMFR/TC//H241 dated 03.08.2011 for Signalling Transformer and CIMFR/TC/P/H58 dated 27.07.2020 & CIMFR/TC/P/ H49 dated 20.04.2012 for Signalling Bell, BIS License No. CM/L – 5063756 (IS/IEC 60079-1) & No. CM/L- 5028855 (IS/IEC 60079-11) and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 445 of 1996) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 429/263/EHQ dated 13.03.1996 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 18.06.2025 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
