Subject:  Approval No. 69 of 1995 under Regulation 181 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 1957 for Bolted Type Flameproof Coupler and Adaptor, Model No. R31/R32/R34 rated at 300 A, 3.3 KV, 3 phase, 50 Hz AC manufactured by M/s. Mine Line Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata conforming to IS:60079-0:2004 and IS:60079-1:2007 for use in belowground Coal Mines– Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application No.E-29021/30849/2021/Electrical (HQ) dated 05.05.2021, offline application No. M21/DGMS/32 dated 24.06.2021 on the above subject and CIMFR Test & Assessment Report No.CIMFR/TC/SR/H699 dated 14.01.2012 and other documents submitted therewith in this regard. 

 

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 69 of 1995) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 333/659/EHQ dated 08.09.1995 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 24.6.2026 for use in belowground Coal Mines.  The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with. 

 

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
