Ltd., Solapur conforming to IS/IEC 60079-0:2017 and IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 for use in belowground Coal Mines – Renewal thereof.

Ref: 1.Test and assessment report no. ERTL (E)/TES/L077/0025/11-22/NABL dated 09/03/2023 found furnished for testing standards IS/IEC 60079-0:20217 and IS/IEC 60079-1:20214 with drawing no. LHP/Exdb225 S/M, Rev.03 (Sheet 1 to 4) dated 30/11/20

 2. The BIS Licence no. CM/L-7165673 with endorsement no. 88 dated 04/08/2025;

Please refer to your online application no. E-29021/62618/2025/Electrical (HQ) dated 09/11/2025 on the above subject and test reports and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.

Based on DGMS approval no. 553 of 2006 issued by this Directorate’s letter no. 493/1589/EHQ dated 21.11.2006, BIS Licence no. CM/L-7165673 with endorsement no. 88 dated 04/08/2025 and above test reports under reference, I hereby renew the approval for further Six months  from the date of issue of this letter for use belowground in Coal Mines, subject to

1. compliance with the conditions stipulated in the original approval as well as annexure enclosed with this renewal letter;
2. submission of test report including details of the cable glands attached to the FLP motors, being part of the intended FLP apparatus, are required to conform to the provisions of IS/IEC 60079-0:2017 such as connection facilities for earthing or bonding conductors (Clause 15), entries into enclosures (Clause 16), and type tests (Clause 26) for Group I equipment, and IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 such as flameproof joints (Clause 5), entries for flameproof enclosures (Clause 13), and type tests (Clause 15), as applicable within 03 months.
