Sub: Approval under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, of permitted delay Electric Detonators , CDET- Vectra PDD( 0-6 delays) for use in belowground coal mines/seams of second degree gassiness manufactured by M/s CDET Explosive Industries Private Limited, Nagpur – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your online application vide id No. 61568 dated 16.05.2023 on the above subject, along with the offline letter No. SAR/DGMS/2023-24/008/ HD dated 18th July 2023.
In view of the satisfactory performance report, I, in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208(3)) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017 hereby renew the approval of Permitted Delay Electric detonators – CDET Vectra PDD( 0-6 delays) for use in belowground coal mines /seams of second degree gassiness manufactured by M/s CDET Explosive industries Pvt. Ltd, granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. letter No. S66021/02/2014-Genl/P-947 dated 25/08/2014 for a period of further five years i.e. upto 25.08.2028, subject to the following modifications:
(i). Condition No. 7 shall be read as: All precautions in accordance with the relevent provisions of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 applicable for transport, storage, handling , charging, use and firing of explosives & detonators in underground coal mines shall be strictly complied with.
(ii) Remaining conditions of the approval granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. letter No. S66021/02/2014-Genl/P-947 dated 25/08/2014 shall remain unchanged and shall be strictly complied with.
