Subject: Approval of Man Riding Chair Lift system manufactured and supplied by M/s Indicon Westfalia Limited installed from 1L/7WD/Seam III to 100L/1ED/Seam III at Gare Palma IV/5 UG mine (Old Name – MILUPARA MINE) of M/s. Hindalco Industries Ltd; Renewal thereof.

1. Please refer your online application No. 30385 dated 12.12.2019 on the above cited subject.

2. In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, I, hereby, renew the  approval issued vide this Directorate’s Letter No. Mech(HQ)/ APP/ MRCL/ IWL/ 348 dated 29.06.2018, for a further period of five years i.e. up to 13.12.2024, subject to the conditions given in the approval Letter No. Mech(HQ)/ APP/ MRCL/ IWL/ 108 dated 15.02.2018 and   Letter No. Mech(HQ)/ APP/ chair-lift/ BWD/ 487 dated 13.06.2013 being strictly complied with.

3. The application for renewal of approval shall be made 90 days prior to the expiry of the validity of approval.
