Sub: Approval under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, of Solar Instantaneous Copper electric Detonators (Epoxy Powder Coated steel Shell) for use in underground gassy coal mines/seams of second degree gassiness manufactured by M/s Solar Industries India Limited.- Nagpur- Renewal Thereof.

In view of the difficulties expressed by you, I, in exercise of powers conferred on me under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations 2017, hereby renew the approval granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. S-66021/04/2015-Genl/P-06 dated 20.01.2016 for a further period of two years, i,e. upto 20.01.2025, subject to the strict compliance of the following conditions.
- The factory inspection may be made by an Officer of this Directorate, if felt necessary, any time to assess/reassess the capability of the manufacturer in respect of quality control, testing and other facilities.
- The product shall be tested from any Govt. approved laboratory, as per the stipulated periodicity, whenever standard of testing changes or the approval gets revalidated from this Directorate under the new /revised testing standards..
