Subject: Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, of Pentadyne (PE-5I), a P-5 type explosive composition in poly packed form for use in gassy coal mines/seams of third degree manufactured by M/s. IDL Explosives Limited, Hyderabad – Renewal thereof.

Please refer to your letter No. IDL/RKL Safety & LC/ No. 1684, dated   30.09.2020 and online application ID No. 30662, dated 04.11.2020 on the above subject.

In view of satisfactory performance reports from users, I, in exercise of powers conferred  on me, under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the  approval granted vide this Directorate’s letter No. S 66021/189/2006-Genl/3958, dated 30.12.2011, for a further period of five years upto 29.12.2025.
