Subject: Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 for flameproof Plug &socket in cast iron (grade FG-200), Brass construction, rated at 650V, 30Amps, designated by Type No. HU 30 for Gas Group-I mine, manufactured by M/s. Mine Line Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, conforming to IS/IEC 60079- 0:2017, IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 for use in belowground Coal Mines –Renewal there of.

IN/CIMFR/TR25/R/H241, dated 20.11.2025, BIS License No. CM/L-0893166, drawing no: 081041,Rev-01 date: 09.04.2025, and other documents submitted therewith in this regard

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 669 of 2014) granted vide this Directorate's letterNo.333/116/EHQ dated 24-01-2014 for a further period of five years, i.e. up to 27.01.2031 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.

Please note that an application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.

Condition: The latest test report indicating the Temperature Class shall be submitted to this Directorate within three (03) months from the date of issuance of this approval. Failing this, the approval may be withdrawn without any further correspondence.
