Czech Republic, Praha, Prague-11000 at his leased factory facilities address- No.167 , 9th Avenue, Zhengzhou Area (Jing Kai), Henan Pilot Free Trade Zone, Zhengzhou, Henan, China to be used in Longwall working at Moonidih Mine at XV seam of M/s Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) -Reg

Please refer to your online application number S-29023/62388/2025/S&T(HQ), dated 03.06.2025 on the above subject matter.

In this connection, it is to inform  that based on the information furnished by you in the application and documents enclosed therewith, I, hereby permit for the prototype testing of “2 Legged 880 t PRS Model Number DTM 18.5/43 ” manufactured by M/s Corum Trading LLC, s.r.o. Czech Republic at leased manufacturing facilities in Zhengzhou, China [ No.167, 9th Avenue, Zhengzhou Area (Jing Kai), Henan Pilot Free Trade Zone, Zhengzhou, Henan, China] to be used in proposed  XV seam Longwall working of Moonidih Mine of M/s Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL)  subject to the compliance of the  conditions as mentioned below:

1. Where in respect of Powered Roof Supports of a manufacturer, no test facility is available in India and no test standard exists in India, the test shall be conducted at any internationally accredited/recognised test house of the country of origin, which is not a part of the manufacturer’s testing facility, as per the latest EN Standard or its equivalent.
2. A schedule of testing of prototype testing of “2 Legged 880 t PRS Model Number DTM 18.5/43 ” and number of days on each activity as per latest EN standard(s) or its equivalent shall be submitted.
3. In addition to the tests conducted as per the latest relevant EN standard(s), Non-Destructive testing (NDT) of the structure as well as welds of the PRS under reference shall also been conducted.
4. Test reports and certificates shall contain among others, an executive summary detailing (a) different test conducted, (b) passing criteria for each test and (c) a remarks column indicating each test results as “passed’ or ‘failed’. A copy of the Lab certified drawing shall also be submitted.
5.  Any testing of Powered Roof Support either within or outside India may be witnessed by officers of DGMS nominated by Director General of Mines Safety.

6. Field trial approval of the PRS under the reference, at the proposed XV seam Longwall working of Moonidih Mine of M/s BCCL shall be dealt separately after the successful completion of the prototype testing of the aforesaid PRS.
