Shanxi Tiandi Coal Mining Machinery, China, for use in belowground Coal Mines in India- Renewal thereof

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|62393|2025|Electrical(HQ) dated 05/06/2025 on the above subject, and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.
In exercise of powers conferred upon the Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation 208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, I hereby renew the (DGMS Approval No. 817 of 2023) issued vide Directorate’s Letter No. E-29021|61580|2023|Electrical (HQ) Dhanbad, Date: 18/08/2023; for a further period of five years, i.e., up to 13.08.2027 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.
Condition: The latest applicable IS/IEC test standards for the intrinsically safe electrical equipment must be submitted to this Directorate within three (03) months from the date of issue of the renewal approval.
The application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of this approval.
