Please refer to your online application dated 01.12.2019 on the above subject.

In view of difficulties expressed by you, I, by virtue of powers conferred upon me under Regulation 2(zu) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 hereby renew the approval of of   Copper Coated Steel Permitted Electric Detonators APSED for use in belowground coal mines/ seams of third  degree for a further period of two years i.e. from 16.01.2020 to  15.01.2022., subject to compliance with the conditions  stipulated vide this Directorate’s letter No. S 66021/36/2014-Genl/ P-1197 dated 16.01.2015. Further Regulation 2(23) of Coal Mines Regulations, 1957 mentioned in the said letter shall be read as Regulation 2(zu) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017.
