DGMS Approval No. 619 of 2011

Subject: Approval under Regulation 208 (3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 for flameproof/weatherproof light fitting with in-built control gear or separate control gear mounted inside the enclosure in M.S fabricated construction, suitable for rating up to 6x26 W CFL, 110 VAC, designated by type No- FLP-RH-FT-04 manufactured by M/s- Flameproof Equipments Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai, conforming to IS/IEC 60079-0:2017 and IS/IEC 60079-1:2014 for use in belowground Coal Mines in India–Renewal thereof

Please refer to your online application No. E-29021|62695|2026|Electrical (HQ) dated 07/01/2026, on the above subject and CIMFR Test and Assessment Report No. IN/CIMFR/TR20/3269, dated 26.11.2020, BIS License No. CM/L-0000850855, drawing no: FEPL/RH/FT/04, REV 03, dated: 18.09.2020, and other documents submitted therewith in this regard.

I, in exercise of powers conferred upon Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director General of Mines Safety) under Regulation208(3) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, hereby renew the approval (DGMS Approval No. 619 of 2011) granted vide this Directorate's letter No. 306/273/EHQ dated 04.02.2011 for a further period of two years, i.e. up to 13.02.2028 for use in belowground Coal Mines. The conditions mentioned in the original approval and subsequent renewal letters shall be strictly complied with.

Please note that application for renewal should be made at least three (03) months before the date of expiry of the approval.
